Marvelous Miss Reno
A tribute to traveling with the Marvelous Miss Reno: She hiked Posiedon’s temple, navigated Istanbul’s markets, hiked goat paths in Crete, taught our kids to read Tarot cards, descended into the “Hell’s mouth” cave, ate lamb intestines, joined us for “Card workouts,” sparked amazing conversations, snuck off for Irish beer, and generally was her amazing self.
It’s all Greek to Me
After a breathtakingly fast spring through the Balkans, including a lovely couple of days in Thessaloniki and Athens, we spend some leisurely time outside a rural village in Crete. It’s been ten weeks, and we are settling more deeply into what this journey is and is not.
