My Why
For me, this trip has been a dream for more than 20 years. I had a friend in college whose parents had taken him and his brother out of middle school and lived on a catamaran in the Caribbean for 3 years. I had no clue you could do something like that and loved the idea of creating that experience if ever I had a family. When Ben and I started dating, it was one of the first things I shared with him. I had no clue how much I'd need something like that at this point in my life. Now it is an affirmation that we can chart our own course in life (and career). I'm a true believer that no one else can define what success or happiness is for you, you have to go out and find it for yourself. So here we go!
