A Moment of Gratitude: Athens
Relaxing on our balcony in Athens
My continuing fantasy of quiet moments in interesting places is actually coming true. We’re plotting dates for the fall with a cup of coffee and a journal. Across the way, a Greek woman leans over her balcony to hand something to a passing neighbor. A cat is asleep on the back of a motorcycle parked on the narrow sidewalk.
We have plans for a tour and something “active” later today, but for the moment, I’m happy for a little stillness.
