FIJI again
Unfortunately, it is the last day in Fiji. Truly there is nothing more postcard-worthy than a beach on the Fijian islands. As we check in at the airport, I'm caught thinking about what I will miss most about Fiji. Suddenly my thoughts are halted because the check-in attendant says “I apologize but this is not the day that New Zealand opens to tourists” and just like that we find ourselves back in the hotel where we spent our first night in Fiji.
Let’s stop talking about today and talk about Fiji as a (whole). The people are nice, they get water from mountain springs, the scenery is extravagant, and possibly best of all they get Fiji water-free, which is a big contrast to the states where Fiji water in a supermarket is $10. Honestly, though the week we had in Fiji was amazing I jumped off the top of a waterfall (guess which one). Overall Fiji is not like some places we’ve been where it always been wake up, eat breakfast, then go look at a monument of some famous person native to that area. Instead, it’s been catching up on schoolwork and relaxing while we overlook the ocean 90 meters below our dining room. Surprisingly I almost forgot to mention we went scuba diving again on a little boat with sharks so close that I held onto one's fin, and as we fed one of them a tooth got dislodged, and are guide gave the tooth to Ava.
