Together Again!

Just a quick note to say we are all together in Amman, Jordan! Thankfully staying with my cousin Denise, her husband Duke, and their adorable, 2-year-old daughter Clara.

Despite both Paul and Ava testing positive again upon landing in Amman (after testing negative at departure in Nairobi), Denise and Duke still welcomed us all with open arms.

From everything we’ve read on the CDC site, Paul and Ava are likely not contagious as they have not had any symptoms for over a week. Still, they are wearing their masks and home quarantining for 7 days per the Jordanian guidelines.

Being the BEST hosts ever, Denise and Duke encouraged those of us not positive to go off and see some of Jordan while Paul and Ava stayed with them. So Ben, Mom, Dad, Sophia and I took a couple days to visit Petra and the dessert of Wadi Rum.
